Due to the increasing real-time oriented control of work content, processes and environments, the administrative processes in sales, purchasing, production, logistics and, last but not least, controlling are undergoing significant changes. This change succeeds all the better if the necessary communication and information systems are closely interlinked with the process and work organization. Especially when introducing new IT systems (be it ERP, PPS, MMS or special expert systems), an analysis of the existing work organization and its alignment with future requirements is therefore indispensable.
