Risk management is the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks. As an executive function, it falls back on a company’s super-ordinate targets, strategies and policies. Risk management is understood as an ongoing process, in which planning, implementation, monitoring and imporvement aer continuously executed. Risk management is supposed to be applied throughout the whole lifecycle of an organisation and create a culture of risk control.
